Instructor Spotlight
Shayne Kumar
Sensei, Coach
Sensei Shayne is a lifelong martial artist, kicking off (pun-intended) his own journey to blackbelt as a young grasshopper at five years old. At age 14, Shayne started training under Sensei Josh and Sensei Vinny. The skills and life lessons he learned from them turned him into the martial artist, the blackbelt, and the person he is today. Now, he’s on a quest to give this same gift to others.
For Sensei Shayne, watching his students gain skills and grow personally is the most rewarding part of being a martial artist. “Martial arts is my passion,” he says, “I’m lucky enough to do it with the people I love.”
